Emersyn, One Week Old

Emersyn is 1 week old today! Last nite she slept for 6 hours! It was so nice to wake up this morning and feel refreshed and energized! She's a very laid back sweet baby girl, she hardly ever gets upset and when she does she's easily consoled by a snuggle or swaddle. She's a big eater and we are thinking she's already back to her birth weight and just hope she continues to put on the pounds. We're adjusting pretty well as a family of 4, some times Taylor has a hard time adjusting and wants more attention from me and Daddy, but for the most part she is doing well. She adores her baby sister and wants to help us with her any way that she can, so we try and include her by letting her help with diaper changes, feedings, holding her, and just talking to her. She doesn't like it when she cries, something she'll just have to get used to! Fortunately for all of us, Emersyn doesn't cry a lot.
